I know, this post is crazy late (at least for those on the east coast). Believe me…I wanted to get it out to you earlier, but life doesn’t always work with how you plan. I need to remind myself of this often! I’m a sucker for creating expectations of how things will go in my head and being let down when things don’t go the way I think they will. Why, oh why do I do that?
I knew I wanted to post something green for St. Patrick’s Day, so I created this super easy green Frappuccino! Its a good way to get your greens in along with your caffeine for all you coffee lovers out there! This may be the perfect breakfast tomorrow for those of you who indulged in one too many green beers tonight! So freeze your coffee and banana tonight, so you can whip this up for breakfast tomorrow! So how did you spend your St. Patrick’s day?
- 1 cup coconut or almond milk
- 1 cup packed spinach
- 1 frozen banana broken into chunks
- 1 cup strong coffee frozen in an ice cube tray
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend well. Enjoy!
